Eh. That joke could be viewed as "M*A*S*H" style black humor... I probably shouldn't be so thin-skinned. Thing is we've been trying hard to make this place more woman-friendly, and that sounded like a BIG step backward.

My badly-labored point was, a joke about battered women is about as funny as asking a Black guy if he likes watermelon.

(The inside part of the joke was that I threw Gambino a curve a week or so ago, when someone asked me to post a pic -- I put up a recent pic of a college friend who's about my age. A Black college friend.)
