2 of them. One boy (pud) and one girl (squirt). She is a runt and weighs maybe 8 ounces. She eats like crazy. milk, wet food, and dry food non stop. Is active in some sense but sleeps a lot and cuddles to stay warm. Pud is a normal 7 week size and a shithead. He is my baby and Squirt is his and the kids. Here is some pics..YAH

Cute kitten.

cool cats, bad names.

should of named them after greek gods.

nope. No greek gods. They got these names because we have kids that helped and:
squirt- she only weighs about 8 oz. She is a squirt.

Pud- Not short for puddles but short for pudding. Really it is short for pud muffin (in the land of up here that is slang for pussy, scared, etc)

I always liked cats. My last cat was a stray I picked up, named him, "Scipio". He was cool, he had a crooked tail. Had to give him away though, wife (girlfriend at the time) was highly allergic. I cried when I gave him up.

Do I need to call people to let them here how it is pronounced or are assholes just not listening because they dont want to?

NOT pud like the beginning of fucking pud/dle. PUD the beginning of pud/ding..TWO different u sounds going on!

K?

But being nicknames penis would be funny! LMFAO

it is a boy afterall!

Aww, kittens! May they bring you years of entertainment and affection.

Do they go completely psycho right about the time you're trying to fall asleep at night? Don't worry, they grow out of that phase and will become accustomed to your human daily cycles. Next comes the ankle-biter phase, which is lots of fun.

Is needto nice to kitty Pud?

Yes..Though he gets a little mad when pudmuffin eats the business computer wires and stuff. Hahahahahah! BUT now that he sees you think we named it after you he banned it. LMAO

CW- I love cats. I was raised with the same boy from age 7 or so all the way up until I was away in Italy. 1 Week before coming home on vaca he had to be put down, sad! I am a total cat person, they make me happier than a dog would.

cute

but cats are dirty
Why on earth would you belive that? Cats are way cleaner than any dog.

I've never met a cat that thought shit was equally good as something to be rolled in or as an in between meal snack

sorry my dog poops on the outskirts of my grass, and never eats poop
You didn't answer my question, why do you believe cats are dirty?

As for the not eating or rolling in shit, that's only because he hasn't had the opportunity. They don't eat and roll in their own shit, they eat and roll in the shit of other animals. Not constantly, but they do it, it's a fact, it's hardwired into them as hunters.

I don't dislike dogs, I grew up around pedigreed German shepards. Until I divorced my first husband I almost always owned dogs (never just one) in addition to cats, rabbits, ferrets, rats, mice, hamsters, hedgehogs, etc., etc., etc. ...

I just don't understand unreasonable prejudice against one animal or another. It's been my observation that it's usually like any other prejudice, it's because people have been taught to dislike an animal, or they've never spent time around that animal and don't understand it, or they're inherently afraid of that animal. So which is it with you?

I used to share a house with three friends. One of them had an indoor cat, and another had an Airdale Terrier that stayed outside. Whenever the Airdale got inside the house, she'd make a bee line for the cat's litter box and start chowing down on the chewy morsels.

:lmao: I had a beagle cross named Goober. His favorite snack was crunchies out of the cat pan  He was such a weird dog. Little fucker loved baths, used to bounce up and down beside the sink whenever any other animal was getting washed

Nice enough dog but I'd never let him lick me, ever.

Yes, Mr DB they go nuts as soon as the kids head upstairs (7 PM). They are too cute though..They are now (more so her, because his own shadow frightens him) jumping out at us as we walk by. Which is hard because we always have to be so cautious with her being little and all that..But they are the babies and are well spoiled, loved, and happy. Pudmuffin loves to be pet and purrs like he ingested a motor boat,Lol. She is still quite little yet she loves to lay with us and cuddle to stay warm. They attack the crap out of each other and constantly bite and chase each others paws and tails, too cute! Here are more pics for you:

she loves chewing on everything including straws

Are they littermates, Angel? I know you said she's a runt but even then it would still be weird that her eyes haven't changed yet. Something about how she holds her body, she's still got that dorkly toddler look about her, whereas he's starting to get all "cool cat" elegance y'know?

Anyway, the reason I mention it, if she is younger than him she could still be cutting her milk teeth (and frankly she looks like she's about 6 weeks old) in which case you want to kind of keep an eye on what she could potentially be chewing.

The either get mouthy again or go off their food a bit at 4 months or so when they drop their milk teeth (you might even take a peek in their mouth and see double teeth).

Ahhh, memories of kittenhood *sigh*

Her eyes have changed. They used to be the bluest blue out there and then they turned greenish and still continue to change. They are approx 7.5 weeks old. Other than her appearance that makes her look about 3 weeks old she acts just like him. she has nothing that has worried me or made me concerned about her development, including mental. She is a very smart kit and acts as if she were not the runt of the litter. Yes, they are of the same litter.

As for teeth I was checking them last night to make sure they are of the appropriate age, and I found that they are of the correct age. Funny that she has more teeth than him though, they have the norm front, canine, bicuspid or whatever but her teeth in the back are coming in. I do find that odd. Lol. I don't mind that they chew everything, including cushions (ruined now thanks to them LOL). They are babies, and that is what babies do! I know they will get over the phase and it will end, I do try to redirect with their toys but they do not get into too much heat when caught chewing shit.....OMG, this girl wont chew anything too bad for her. She cannot even use the litter box alone between us 5 constantly checking on them...Hahahahha

She is the super runt of the litter, lol. Weighing (estimated here as my food scale seemed to have lost its dish) approx 8 ounces upon arrival to my house. She gets kitten milk (even though she is older she needs to gain the weight) and she eats constantly. I make food available every 3 hours along with her dry food. They both eat canned foods, dry food, and water. She seems to have been growing and gaining at a great pace so far, and I have not even had her too long.

Hubby and I were talking and he reminded me that runts can be behind the others developmentally. It's almost like the bigger brothers and sisters steal some of their life force. The best thing for her is that you've given her a good home, and lots of food :qt:

That was one of the main reasons why I took her was because I felt bad if I were to leave her behind. I wanted to ensure that she would have a nice home, food, and someone that would take care of her until she grew enough to where she was totally independent.

You're such a total good mommy

They went to the vet today for their first visit. I wanted to give them 1 week to settle in here before getting traumatized by the vet dr.
They are both healthy and doing well. I was worried about the runt because she is sooo small and has that dorky look to her. But he said that she is doing well, lungs sound good, heart sounds good etc. I had them both de wormed as a typical precaution though there has been nothing there to make me think that they have worms. Also had a flea treatment because they came from home with multiple cats in it, who knows if they had eggs or not...He said no more kitten/cat milk for the baby- if I was that concerned about her gaining weight immediately then I can buy liquid vitamins for her, but he told me she will always be small. She is not the runt that will grow to huge cat- she is too small.

So they are in good health and we were even allowed to wait until they are 12 weeks before they get their first distemper shot (which I guess will save us money in the long run YAH).

Just wanted to update ya'll..Maybe I will post more pics of the trouble makers after.

Clyde brought me a dead chipmunk today.

My inlaws cat (has like 30 names..Dutchess, princess, kitty, mabel,etc- poor kitty)..Anyways she goes and collects rodents. Chipmunks, birds, moles, field mice, YUCK..The kitty leaves them in the yard right near the damned stairs. So every time we go over there I have to deal with seeing dead things with their heads ripped off...Ruthless.

My babies are going to be indoor babies. Not that I wouldn't mind them catching things but it is a busy roadway (shouldnt be but people use it as a short cut) and I don't want them to get hit by a car.
