I got a ticket (in the mail) for running a light. One of those cameras posted at an interersection.

Did you live in that area? Cause I would think you would have a warrant for your arrest for an unpaid ticket. But, they can't prove you ever received the ticket in the mail, so I'm not sure. It's like jury duty summons maybe. They can't do shit if you don't show up unless you got it by certified mail and signed for it.

same here - In NYC they send out so many and many/most just get paid without questions (no points its like a parking ticket). The rest I think they dont persue because they probably fear a serious court challenge that they would probably lose establishing a precedent that would kill the golden goose.

damm, they just started getting thoses systems here like a mad man in my neck of the woods, luckily i got one of thos license plate covers thats clear but makes it appear blurry to a camera. search it on the web man there life savers!

75$. My car was in the shop and I was in my parent's car... They are the most honest people in the world.. So it's not gonna be easy to get out of this. I may have to corrupt them like a politician.

You live with your mom and dad? I thought you said you got ticket in your mail? I'm confused.

At any rate, you better not sell your mom and dad down the river for $75.00. I'd pay it.
