Mother fucker I want to kill everyone who works in a bar. I fucking hate those places. So my buddy wants to go out tonight cause he has the night off and it's my week off and shit. So we go to this bar we both used to work at and the fat fuck head bouncer I used to work for tells me I can't come in because of my hat and my shorts. Bear in mind, I used to work for this guy and the bar is dead right now so they should be grateful to get any customers.

That would be your pancreas failing cause you're so obese and disgusting and stuff." Asshole just wanted to be a prick. Fuck I hate those places and I hate the door most of all since it's like I basically have to up their stupid egos by essentially admitting I want to gain access to their oh so super fucking cool establishment. It's like dude, you're a 40 year old bouncer. Get over yourself. I'm 25 and frankly feel a hell of a lot more successful than you. And much less fat."

If I didn't want to sleep with some of the other bartenders that work there I'd never go back.

No hats, so I could have just taken it off - not so much a problem there. I always forgee the hat thing. They were cargo or camo or some such shit and apparently that's not kosher all of a sudden. It was fucking fine when I worked there.

It's funny that people here are judging some guy and have no clue who he is. The only thing you know is that the bouncer was in a position of power over Nathan (before Nathan even stepped up and once he told him to take his hat off, etc) and Nathan got pissed. The way I see it - a) the bouncer was doing his job (this assumes that the bar rules are against hats and shorts, which is pretty common - he didn't make the rules, he's just enforcing them), b) we ALL know msot bouncers are dicks - Nathan is smart enough to know that going into the situation and c) Nathan is pissed because he was put into a position of weakness, being showed up by another man.

Yeah, maybe Nathan's life is so much better than the bouncers, but that doesn't matter in that 10 second interaction at the door. We've all been through it. There is nothing more frustrating than having to bow down to authority evne when you know/believe they are wrong or being unfair.

Fuck the owner of that bar just got fucked out of his bar too.

And yes, there is a dresscode at this place, but the camo pants thing is new this year and I fucking forgot. Plus, the bar was dead and not nearly packed and generally bars look the other way with dress codes on nights like that.
