I need to be outta here within a month or so. sharing an apartment = the suck.

they rape you on the 1 bedrooms around here though..its so much more cost effective to get 2 but screw it . rather have my own space.

Fuck, I get pissed enough sharing an office with somebody. I'd go psyco quick if I had to live with some jackass.

Roommatest that start out as friends, become worst enemies.

It's like a sexless marriage.

nothing but resent.

You sounded like things were looking up for you more recently. You seem to have anger issues.

yup..i used to hang out with this kid atleast 1x a week. now I dont even want to say "whatsup" when i see him. lol.

Yep, I'd much rather live alone. I only live with my woman because she gives me the pussy...

I"m kidding. I'd be bored to death without her. She keeps me in stitches and vice versa..

it really depends on the person

i'm sharing a house with 2 friends

one of them is annoying with his gf always over and giggling and doesn't clean

the other, whom i have been best friends with since 1st grade, is still awesomo

but on the whole it's a great situation, we don't really bother eachother and it's a rather large house for 3 people

sometimes i want to rip people's heads off tho because i'm a solitary person, but i have my own floor

Its better then getting evicted and having to search a college town for a 1 bedroom apartment with a 6 month lease, grrrrr .....

Me too. Sometimes I don't wanna interact with people and they just don't seem to understand. I loved living by myself although I love living with my gf more, living with a houseful of people would drive me nuts.

the big deal is being able to find a way to say what's wrong/bothering u

yo juice, what bothers u the most?

buy a place. home inventory at 15 year high. Rates are still low. Just watch out as NJ property taxes are the highest in the nation.

if he can't really afford/doesn't want to spend money on a 1 bedroom i highly doubt he's in a position to buy a place yet.

and yeah, NJ property taxes fuckin blow.

my parents pay like 15k-16k a year and they bought their house over 20 years ago.

school systems are very good in the area though...some of the best public schools in the country

That's insane. You're better off renting with tax rates that high.

no...considering property taxes are a write off and they have over a mil in equity.

but that is true if you're looking buying a property now with outrageous taxes, especially assuming you don't have more than enough income to support it.

florida is a good case in point. property taxes here are 2% of the purchase price, which isn't as bad as NJ, but it's getting close.

400k house (which probably isn't even 2k square feet and not even that close to the beach/east of I-95) will cost you 8 grand a year in property taxes.

I'm a neat person. I keep my things clean, whether it be my car, my place of residence , etc. etc. this fool lives like a child, doesnt know how to do dishes, keeps his clothes all over the place, and shit like that. I have a constant flow of friends/women over my place on a weekly basis so I like to be proud of my apartment and not have it look like a shithole. I usually wind up doing the dishes for him and just tax him by eating all of his food. lol

honestly thats one of the only things...its not really a personal thing against him..i think its more me. I cant be arround another man every day. I start getting really annoyed about the stupidest of things . I'm better off not having a roomie. plus.. I dont like being confined to my room , i want to be able to sit on the couch in my undies scratching my balls and thats just something I cant do living with a friend.

just recently my housie was pissing me off by not cleaning etc, and i got another guy to move in

now, im a super clean guy (not a freak, but i always stay busy) and after a week, my housie calls me and says "dude, i have a complex question...how...did you not...bash my face in...when i didnt...do the dishes?"

I LOLed, supposedly the new guy leaves very big skidmarks in the toilet lol

can you please tell me how to tell my buddy/roomate that he owes me $1,300 in back rent (3 months) and that I want to rip his trachea out with my bare hands but still be friends?

that would piss me off too. not that i'm the cleanest person in the world but i like to keep the kitchen and living area pretty tidy. my bedroom is usually a little more messy but it's a contained mess. it's not like you're in college anymore when it doesn't matter. after a certain point its time to grow up and respect your living space.

my roomate now on the other hand is a complete neat freak and it drives me nuts. he freaks out over dust and streak marks on the wood laminate and shit. for me clean = no food out/dishes/glasses out, no food stains, no dishes in the sink, no clutter, decent floors and clean furniture.

you two are just not compatible at all as roomates. same thing iwth living with a chick...easy way to ruin a relationship even if everything else is in order

I've had the discussion many times. I'm at the point where I need to kick him out. This blows.
in that case id have no problem literally throwing him out (provided i was bigger than him)

seriously, i'm torn because he's my best friend, and the fact he owes me money. never should have let him move in in the first place.

i recently kicked one of my best friends (last years roomate and this coming years roomate) out of my car for being a faggot and then he still wouldnt shut up so i did a nice combo to the body (never face tho).

things were super awkward between us, but now i love it, much more formal, living with him this coming year is gunna be alot easier

business is business and friendship is friendship.

if he can't respect that, he's a douchebag. never let a friend get too comfortable.

the more you let it go, the worse becomes. believe me

different situation but i hired friends to come work for me and 70% became lazy sacks of shit because they were boys with the "boss". nothing worse than having to fire your friends. everytime i gave them an extra chance, the worse it became. Eventually the rest of my employees were complaining about people getting preferential treatment. will never hire friends/do business w/ them again unless i know its someone whos automatically a hustler no matter what.

friendship = comfort
distance = on your toes

I moved in with my lifting partner a couple years ago - I'm still in the same 2 bedroom - he's gone.

Sure I pay a lot for just myself, but it's so worth it. I used to hang out w/ my ex roomie at least 5x per week (lift and then come home and smoke a bowl) - now I don't think I've seen him in a few months. Shit changes real quick when you live together.

fucking a this blows. how would you kick him out - just say listen you owe me a lot of money and I want to help you out but its gone too far??

i hate this shit
