We no longer live together. I'm not going into details. Things got very ugly. Some people just need help and unless they own up to that, they will never get better.. Women are the last thing on my mind now believe it or not. I just want to hang out with my family. I had a great time tonight at my parent's and brother's. I spent the night at their house the last 2 nights and slept like a baby. I'm back home now. It's empty here, but I'll be alright.

I don't really know you, but I would like to say sorry. I have been there and done that and it does get better with time. Just keep your head up and live for your self.

Yes there was a lot of potential so it's a huge disappointment and I really did love her. I took her in when she had nothing. Lost it all to alcoholism and then got everything back including a great job, started drinking again and is losing it all again, and I just hoped it would stop, but it's an ugly beast that often destroys lives. We all have some problems, but alcoholism is one of the worst ones to have. They are in denial and think you are judging them, but it's so not true.

I definitely know where you're coming from in terms of alcoholism. My wife and I weren't to the point where we went into detox after stopping but it definitely ruined our lives. Having to declare BK after being fired from my job because of my attendance issues and overall poor performance from the alcohol problem caused us to look at our situation and find a way to fix it.

We finally kicked the habit but not by what most would call an intelligent way. We basically traded one dangerous life altering vice for another, more natural nonaddictive substance.
