It's beautiful! It came with two 30 round magazines and folding stocks. I paid $570 for it. It's in great condition. I think that was a fair price. I've seen them sell for $800

AK-47. The very best there is. When you absolutely, positively, got to kill every mother f*cker in the room; accept no substitutes.

I'd be careful about letting too many people know who has one. If I have one (and if I do, it's not full auto, and is in an approved safe in the State of Texas), I'd be very quiet about it. If Obama resurrects the national ban, you don't want Big Brother knowing you have it.

With that said, some of the Romanian and Spanish ones are excellent, and as Radar said, there are copies from other places which I wouldn't trust. If I have any, it (or they) would be US-made.

Even if they were to be banned (which I think is very unlikely), they would all be grandfathered in and it would simply prevent the sale of any future firearms manufactured after a certain date. Fully autos have been banned since the 80's and grandfathered ones are still around..and worth a retarded amount of money as well.

Even during the Assault Weapon Ban in the 90's, AK47's were still around. An AK is just a rifle..most high powered hunting rifles are far more "dangerous," they just lack the "mean" appearance.

Exactcally! I have an interdamics semi auto it has a 36 round magazine ,v tripod, screw on barrell (both barrells have cooling holes in them)it looks like a fully auto machine gun ,but its basically nothing more than a semi auto 9mm.

sweet gun bro!

Romanians are the most widely available for a reasonable price right now

folding stock, nice! Put that shit in your backpack and take off :)

Fuck $2,000 for an AR, AK for $500 is the place to be. Roll around in some mud w/ that thing and you're still good to go :)

Where do you go to shoot that AK?

There is an indoor range around here but they don't allow rifles over .22LR

The out door range is a different story :) You gotta join the "club" tho, and their hours are 8-10am on Saturday. Um, don't they realize I'm still hungover that that point?

Romanian huh..if it's a WASR-10 you got ripped off.

make sure to thoroughly check for front sight canting/gas tube canting and magazine wobble. all three are common problems.

You never saw a gun in real life? Wow dude. I guess go to a museum or something? :)

One of my favorite recreational pastimes....besides drugs. So I guess you got that going for ya

always a good combo

just sayin'

:)

One time I had over 10 firearms and thousands of rounds in my truck and three 30 packs of brew.

I was taking my boys shooting down by the 'ole miss

If we got pulled over or something imagine explaining that one.

We didn't drink while shootin' btw, that was for later :)

I'm the exact same way, no shooting while intoxicated ,i always keep a level head however i do not know what goes on in my buddies heads so i don't allow no drinking just to keep stupid things from happening, and i one of them wants to see my gun i remove the magazine and clear out the chamber.

Remember guns don't kill people, stupid people do!

Heh, I've got that sitting within a 3ft radius of me right now, instead of commercial beer though, it's about 2 gallons of home-brew.

Kittery Trading Post has them on sale all the time for like $375.

AK47's are cool for just messing around with. Me personally I would of went with a AR15. More accurate, long range, high bullet velocity, higher rate of fire if you go full auto. Also you can do more modifications to them, and turn them into a nice comp gun.

What worries me is the registration of existing ones, even if grandfathered in. I can't remember if it was a federal or CA state law, but all owners of semi auto assault rifles were required to go in an register them by a certain date when the ban took place, or they would be subject to seizure if seen. To me, that's the same thing as taking them away. If they know you have it, they can come anytime and ask for it. If they don't know, they can't ask and can't search without a warrant.

As far as full-auto, you need a Federal license to keep them, and I think they're really sticky about who can get one. The only ones I know of, belong to military retirees with proper permits.

In my state even the Democrats won't vote to regulate guns. The last battle we had over guns had to do with who is supposed to issue concealed carry permits. the judges quit handing them out and said it was the local sheriffs job to handle the permits. Now you have to go to the sheriff's office instead of having a hearing with a judge. no big deal there. Neither denies anyone a permit.
