when my son asks for a toy or stuff like that (everyday, kid is greedy) i just tell him he's got enough crap shoved under his bed to outfit an entire toy store and the last thing he needs it another toy.

then he says, ok you could have just said NO.

Damn... and I thought it was only my kids that complained that I explained too much when I say No. They say they can tell when it's no as soon as I start talking because if I'm going to say yes then I just say yes.
