when my son asks for a toy or stuff like that (everyday, kid is greedy) i just tell him he's got enough crap shoved under his bed to outfit an entire toy store and the last thing he needs it another toy.

I don't have kids and when mcd's had toys 20 yrs ago, I used to collect them.
I thought one day they would be worth something. I have a box in my garage of like 200 mcd's toys from 20 yrs ago.
Ebay? Are they worth anything even?

I would have taken them out of the plastic and played with them, but I was 22 at the time...hahah!
