I'm, actually talking about the Canadian Airborne Regiment. The heritage front pales in comparison to some of the actions that members of the Airborne commited.


Personally, your posts do not offend me. Yet, their are others out there that find offence to some of the material you post. Just use a little discretion when looking for your reactions.

Dear SG,
I am going to tell you a story. This story begins with a group of young men involved with a certain military unit in Canada. Racist as hell, confederate flags, shaved heads, boots and braces, you name it...these guys were into it.

All was well until they decided to start acting upon their unfounded criticism of other races. Some of these acts were tape recorded. The tape made it's was to the press, forcing these young men to back up their racist stances in the public eye.

The result?? Many people suffered for the racist remarks of a few. Their unit was disbanded and shame was brought to a lot of people that were not involved at all. The worst part of it was that these boys screamed freedom of speech and then couldn't back up there racist claims, nor would they make the same racist remarks in a public forum.

Racism is a very potent seed that has the power to turn good people very ugly.

I sincerely you do not subscribe to some of the themes that you are posting. If so, it is truly unfortunate. You are making needless enemies for views that are archaic in nature. If you really do believe in this shit, I would highly suggest you keep your view to yourself instead of imposing on others. Yes, this forum is open to free speech BUT that speech cannot offend or demean anyone else. Please have consideration for others, that is all that is being asked.

I think his posts are funny and not to be taken to heart. Some of them might be a little off the wall but I take his posts as humor and not racism. People just can't have fun anymore without someone's panties getting bunched up.

what the Airborne unit did was nothing. I've seen worst. Trust me on this one. I wont mention names nor locations, but the Airborne guys look like kids in front of what I saw. The thing is: in Canada the army will always be the favourite target of the medias. So sad.
