Bros,

Well yesterday was my rest day. And today, I worked a 13 hour shift at work. So I was too tired to make it to the gym. Now I feel like shit, i'm just a fat ass. WTF!! Man I feel depressed now. Help me snap out of this. I never been out of they gym for 2 days straight while 'on'. Fuck, how do you guys recover from this??
 
after working 13 shift,I would recommend you eating clean and getting some much deserved rest..........and then hitting the weights hard as a hell as soon as you get some sleep and rest.there's no since in beating yourself down for working your ass off and trying to make a living do the best you can as soon as you can get back to the gym,bro.

Every shift I work is a 12 hour shift :worried:
 
I just worked 9 hrs of concrete work today with no break nor lunch. I was pretty pissy by the end of the day to say the least. I havent gone to the gym in 2 days myself. But I am going tomorrow and sunday to make up for it.
 
today i got home at 4pm, I was planning on takin a 1hr nap and going to the gym. so much for that i woke up at 10 pm, fuckin 10 pm. at first i was all upset but then i realized it was my body sayin 'hey fucker give it a rest'. So i'm gonna rest up tonite get up early tomorrow and sacrifice myself to the iron gods. let your body rest dude, you may feel superhuman while on juice but you're not. every time i take a couple of days off, even mid cycle, i always come back stronger.

Over the long run, missing one day in the gym isn't going to kill you or hinder your gains that badly. use that extra energy tonight and KTS!
 
I was a little pissy with myself for not hitting the gym on Friday.

But, I had to shoulder and carry 80-90lbs 5 gallon buckets of gravel up 20 steps and about 100 feet about 30x, with a sore quad that day.

Rest felt good. Slept 11 hours last night.
