I'm truly happy you have the company of a pet you love, and even more so considering you're a man who is willing to say he enjoys the company of a cat, but STFU about declawing, seriously. It is an inconsiderate act that has the potential to cause more harm than good and there is simply NO reason beyond ignorance to declaw a cat: You provide them with good scratching surfaces and if you're really neurotic about the claws trim their nail tips once a month. Think about it, there has to be a reason declawing is illegal in over 20 countries.

He was already declawed when we got him. I know it's cruel but obviously there's no going back, so I treat him like a baby because once they're gone that's pretty much all he's ever going to be.
