Hurt my shoulders again

The hurt myself during the last trap workout.

Seems like I hurt both shoulders. The bad one (right) has a dull ache all the time and it seems like sometimes the bones are not lining up right. Hurts even when I take either 2400mg motrin or 1000mg naproxen.

I hit the gym a few days ago and 135x10 was all I could do!

I stopped working out.

I went to the primary care doc today.

It's the same story all over again. My shoulder have too much mass and they can't see or poke deep enough to get a response from me.
I told him that my shoulders are strong and the surounding muscles will compensate to aliviate teh pain. So he has to do his tests hard with me, he said he hurt himself, LOL

Needless to say I passed him test. But then I showed him my tests which hurt like a mofo. What hurts is a lateral raise and thumbs down lateral raise. I got through to him. :)

He was going to give me an MRI, but I talked him into x-raying both shoulder 1st. The reason I did that was because both my clavicle's are baing chewed away and I want to see if they got worse and are casuing my bone pain now.

So the diagnosis is bursitus or tendonitus or sprianed muscle or I have a tear.

Doc gave me:
flexeril muscle relaxer
lidoderm (lidocaine patch 5%): for acute pain
ultracet ( I wanted a cox2 inhibitor but he would not give it to me): for acute pain - sounds good

If i'm not better in a week he will send me for a MRI

My plan:
take meds
stetching
thera band rotator work
light weight rotator work
bar bench press
stay at a 0% pain level while working out I will start adding weight and use a shirt
Once I'm pain free day to day I'll start my normal workout.

I think this will take 3-4 weeks.

One more thing. All this started when I went really heavy and switched shirts. I felt ok with the ragex doubles but I thinmk the Karins DD is a problem for me. It hurt me once before when I lost my grove. I think the karins puts more pressure on my shoulder.
 
Train smart and stay smart. Powerlifting is not a sprint, it's a marathon. It takes years to get where you want and takes intelligence to stay there.
