HST Training

Anyone have any success using this training method? I've been doing some reading on it and am intrigued.
I did..its great to achieve balance. I use to be a beach muscle guy and then got into bodybuilding and I credit HST for bringing up my weak spots. I know use DC training because i am trying to get bigger and HST seemed great for balance but not for mass. (for me anyway)

Can you send me a link to DC training? What's your routine like?

i used HST for about 4 months, while eating a lot, and gained a lot of muscle, and strength.

i'd have to say it was the best routine i've done so far for both strength and size gains.

I think its alright. I would at least vouch for it a little. I say try it out and see how you like it. There are many ways to get from point A to point B.

you have to hire a DC trainer

You do not. DC has a pretty simplistic method, and it's nothing special at all. I'd say HST is far superior to DC though. Easily.

I added a good deal of mass way back when, when I tried out HST.

If anyone can advise on how to use the HST calculator it would be appreciated. I'm coming to the end of my 5x5 and need to start preparing for my next method, I've chosen HST.

Sory for the thread hijack mate

As for HST itself I think it works very well run it after afew routines of 5x5. As far as the calculator, find your 15, 10 and 5 rep maxes on the lifts you are going to do ( I just do them for the compound lifts). Plug those numbers into the last weeks of each rep scheme respectfully. Then figure what weight increases you want and put that in and it will calculate your weights for the entire six weeks.

It's easier than what I am sure I made it sound.

my apologies for the confusion. DC principles can be found on the web. I hired a DC trainer and have a custum routine and that (out of respect for my trainer) I will not share. If you are going just for looks then I would say HST is the way to go. If you want to huge and possibly compete in BBing then I would say DC.
