HRT - Going in for Bloodwork

So I saw a doc about HRT. She wants to test my:
SHBG
Test free/total
LH

I have to go in at 9am to get the test. Natural test levels are highest at that time.

I told her that I ran a few cycles of Test and she was cool.

If I get a test in ~700 range, I won't get any HRT. I'm shooting for 500 or less. How can I get my levels down a little.

How can I lower my test levels?

i'm on hrt for 4 months getting my second set of blood work on monday. i started at 167 test level after 6 weeks was up 800. But this time i want him to raise my amount so i skipped my thursday injection ( ususal mon-thurs pins ) . i hope my levels show lower so he recommend i go from 2x .5cc to maybe 2x .7 cc. i will let you know

First off....do you know for sure that your hypogonadal? Or are you just trying to get your doctor to prescribe test?

Most doctors won't (and shouldn't) prescribe HRT if your natural levels are anywhere from 300's or higher...hell, some doctors will refuse even in the high 200's.... point is, "normal" for most healthy men in their 20's-30's is high 200's to 1200ng ... if you're coming up as 500, why screw up your natural test production??

Yep, the range starts at 250. 500 is quite healthy.

My doc is not most doctors; she is cool. I have to score below 700 on at least one test (I think I get a few tries).

You've got a point about screwing up normal T production. I figure I can come off when I get tired of HRT. NBD. I came off ~18 weeks of test at 250/wk last spring, not that hard, but my libido suffers now.

SO -- any ideas for lowering test a little?
