How would you handle this situation?

did you do anything to piss him off?

That's what I don't understand.

I've helped this guy out more than his own family. I've bought him drinks out before, let him borrow this money, and let him borrow my car when his tore up.

So last time there I went off on him because of him screwing me on the door charge and demanded my money. People were around so I think it embarrassed him thus causing the ban.

Trust me, the friendship is well over. I only want some sort of revenge now and my $$$.

Hmmm..Perhaps a call to the owner of the bar letting him know he's lost money on cover charges!

After all, we do not want other people in the "red" due to your dead beat pal......

Oh it gets better.

He told the owner that I threatened to kill him if he didn't pay, so the owner said that I can't come in in fear of trouble arrising.
(this of course a lie, but clever as it reinforces the banning)

This is like a damn soap opera with this guy.

Primetime:

That is a good strategy.

The only bad thing is that he has moved and no longer has a phone. Perhaps I can do it when I see him at the door however, but that'd be the only chance I get to do it.

This guy use to be a drug dealer. Too bad he no longer is or else there might be a police raid at his apt. from an annonomous source:)

IF I were the owner I'd prolly let you ruff him up a bit if I found out he was ripping me off at MY front door on the cover charges!

I still think this is your best bet. Call the owner and put a bug in his ear about him NOT charging cover to his pals! I'll bet this will get the owner's attention!

Maybe your "pal" will get a hint one of these days what the difference 'tween right and wrong is! One can hope....

Vbabe: I think I will call the owner and tell him. I hope he gets fired or removed from the door. (say, why is it females always have the best revenge ideas?:) )

Curling: Damn right he's a prick. He lets other people in free but yet charges me after all I've did to help him and I'm not exaggerating on any of the things I've mentioned in this thread.

I think it would be too much of a hassle to sue for $300 though.

I think the sublte references to things breaking and embarrassing him in front of friends is the way to go.

Not sure how the call to his boss would go over.

I don't think so in small claims court. It is worth making a phone to see.

I like primetime's idea too. But it seems that ya'll are not running in the same circles any more are ya?

LOL@woman and revenge comment!

Hey, YOU do not need to mention your name to the owner!I'd also wait a few weeks to call! Let things simmer down a bit!
