Advice from having been there myself: "Do not talk to the COPS". We all hear alot about that Gary Condit guy and how he is getting a break because he is a congressman. BS, if he was not a congressman he could have told the COPs to shove it. I got an order seized through customs from Canada. I go to college. I got my letter from US Customs, but then later I got a call from my college police. They were really posturing and threatening the hell out of me. They were like "we have the US Customs, the DEA, the Dean's Office all involved in this, we will get you." And then he was like "but I am sure you want to come down and talk to me about this don't you, to explain your side of the story". Now let me tell you, I grew up in a family of criminals. Drug dealers, organized crime, fights, whatever. I am not stupid either. I told him that there was no way in hell that I would talk to him if I had the choice. If he wanted to talk to me, he could arrest me and charge me. I then called the Customs and DEA the next day. They told me the COP was basically a crackhead and I should ignore him if I wanna stay out of trouble. Sufficet to say, I never was arrested or charged with a damn thing. The COP had no evidence and just expected me to come down there and confess to him after he yelled at me for a few hours. What a loser.
