How to cook Bacon?

Paulos

New member
Ok...this is retarted, but I'm on a CKD and bacon is a food I eat often.

Here's the problem, for the life of me I CANNOT cook the shit correctly, I either undercook it so it's gummy or burn it to a crisp. How the hell do I cook it correctly? Is there some color it should be or something so I know when it's done?

I've literally stood there and watched the bacon cook to make sure it was done perfectly, and still fucked it up. There must be some bacon secret that I'm missing out on, fill me in.

I am not sure about bacon, but these folks define "cool"

Buy one of those Microwave bacon cookers.
Lay the bacon on the wavy tray thingy on top of a few paper towels to soak up the grease
Cover it with more paper towels
Follow the directions per slice on the box

No splatter
No Burning
Still relatively crispy...

Before the flames start to come in, listen up..
This way is not as good for crispy bacon as the skillet, but will do for the frying challenged..

The bitch in the middle looks like a corpse.

Thanks for the suggestion Y_Lifter, I'll try to find one.

lol...are your retarded:p ?? just kidding man.

Anyway, just lay strips of bacon in frying pan. Cook over medium heat, turning occasionally until cooked to crispness you prefer. If you like it more crispy, drain the fat off occasionally while cooking. Good luck:D

Damn...Just take it out of the pan when it's as crispy as you want it. And yes...you have to watch it the whole time you're cooking it...no bouncing back and forth between the computer and the skillet while asking discussion boards "how do I cook bacon?"

P.S. EVERYBODY likes thier bacon cooked differently. I like it with crisp meat and chewey fat...
