fellas (nautica in particular)
Loading up on red meat and creatine before a test in order to try and beat the cuttoff point for a diluted test will do nothing on either IOC or NCAA tests. Both testing methods quickly analyze the specific gravity of the urine specimen. If it is too close to 1 (the specific gravity of pure water) you have to produce another sample. Temperature is taken as well, to prevent someone from bringing in another sample, and to prevent athletes from having the specimen in their controll for too much time. Anything below 96 degrees, and you will be asked to give another sample. Diluted piss also loses it's temperature quicker than urine with more body impurities, so this is another way that they'll catch you if you try and just drink a bunch of water the night before the test. From the time you give your sample, to the time you sit down with the official, split the specimen into two containers and then fill one medicine droppers worth for the gravity/temp check, diluted piss will probably allready be below 96 degrees. Time to pee again. Doesn't really matter, because it probably wouldn't pass the specific gravity test anyway. These are IOC/NCAA procedures. The NCAA might give dummy tests (which I personally don't believe), but I can assure you that the IOC does not. You might be able to get away with some dipshit employers test, but the others are much smarter than the average bear. Also 300$ for a test...must have been a really simple test because IOC and NCAA tests cost over a thousand dollars per crack. I can't get a straight answer from anyone on how much exacly, but it's much more than 300$.
