How safe is the oil in our AAS?

How toxic to our bodies are the solvents found in AAS? Has anyone ever looked into this? A discussion on TSC sparked my interest since someone had a problem with EO oil. Our bodies have to filter that stuff out so I would think certain oils will stress our bodies more than others.

Thoughts?

It's just soybean oil. (Though I guess UG's can use anything. I think TP used Quaker State).

It gets absorbed no differently than eating oil. Sure, it's right into the bloodstream, but it's about a teaspoon -- maybe equivilant to 10 tsps if eaten. Compeletely harmless unless you did 4cc's a day, in which case it'd start getting a little sludgy .

most use soybean oil, vegetable oil,and others if i catch anyone using Quaker state in my gear i'll shove it all where the sun don't shine.

Ethyl oliate has some staunch haters and I cant say I am against it

also Alcohol content is waaaaay to high in some gear , sure feels toxic

that seems to be the one people hate the most

one brand i know used arachis (peanut) oil

just curious as to how much and what can be dangerous.

wouldn't these oils be healthy if they are vegetable derived? lol

How come? honestly curious as most people love EO based gear, but would like to know if any downfalls to using EO gear?

Ethyl oleate - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

EO based gear will cause problems if you're allergic to it. The FDA has not approved EO for use in injectables, only orals.

The PROS of using EO:

- thinner gear
- robust solvent (gear won't crash)
- higher gear concentration (more gear per ml)
- less injection pain

This makes EO based gear widely preferred, thus increasing demand, thus increasing sales.

CONS:

Not sure, but it seems people react negatively to it...headaches, lethargy...seems more toxic than other solvents.

I'm still looking into this. I will probably be avoiding gear that uses a high concentration of EO. Let's not set off the alarm just yet since there are more important risks with using gear than the oil they use.
