How Old is Too Old for AAS?

I'd keep an eye on the vitals for the 40+ set - BP, body fat, resting HR, cholesterol. Being healthy inside and out.

What if you went to a different HRT doc and just tried to get your test levels to the high end of normal? I bet you would feel great and make great gains at the gym too.

I am 56 and been working out for the last 3 years straight, 4 to 5 days per week. Worked out mostly all my life until I was about 40 and then stopped for a few years while I was raising the kids. I did my first cycle last spring (sustaject 250), 250 mg. week for 10 weeks. I was pretty happy with the results and the way I felt. Boosted by sex drive a little and I put on some muscle. I did my second cycle in the fall, Test cyp, 600 mg per week, and Primo, 200 mg. per week. I felt great and was horny as hell. I did pct with unleashed, hcg, and sustain alpha. I lost about 20 pounds of fat and gained more muscle. After this cycle I had my blood checked and my test level was 1800.
I am now about 215 and around 20%bf. I am pretty healthy and get checkups often. Everything is good, except my test which was now down to 105. Dr. put me on Testim gel. I couldn't convince him on the injectible test. I am getting ready to do my third cycle. I am thinking of 250 mg. test cyp per week, and 200 mg. Primo., for 10 weeks. I will do the same pct with the unleashed, hcg, and use the testim gel. Wife and Dr. both know about my cycles. What do you guys think about this? Is anyone else here in my age bracket using aas??

Thanks!

That Testim Gel is a waste of time and money, like George said ,find another Dr that will work with you.

57 here...use your maturity and experience to full advantage...use your head. Know your limits but enjoy your life.

As George and Radar have stated...get another Dr. Don't think that there aren't any that will work with you....hell...you would be surprised how many are doing the same thing we are!!:D

The only thing you shouldn't do after 45 is orals or anything that raises BP too much.

I thank everyone for their opinions and answers. I think at this point I will try to find another dr. I would rather do it under supervision as my test levels are legitimately low.

I'd for sure keep a close eye on my heart and BP.

I am quite a ways away from that age bracket, but if I was there I'd keep dosages on the low side. As mentioned, no orals. No tren or anything harsh. Test, primo, EQ, stuff like that and you'll put most others your age to shame.
