If I were single and/or a player, I'd get tested all the time. No symptoms is meaningless, since things like herpes and AIDS don't show any symptoms until later on, if ever. I'm married and neither of us has ever cheated, and I get an AIDS test every 2 years or so when I update or renew life insurance. Otherwise, I've never had any STD tests unless they do them at a routine physical.
