How often do get your hair cut

I just went to the barber tonight for the first time in years, got a nice little marine fade, best part was when the doc busted out the warm shaving cream and switch blade then lined me up (no homo)

6-8 weeks; I leave it long (4-5 inches on top) and like 1.5 inches on the side, sometimes I just do a little trimming on the sides in between.

at one point in the 90's i had the military/fade look like borris describes....a "shape up" is needed every 2 weeks for the "fade" part as the sides usually grow out faster than the top and looks scraggily.

on the right shaped head this style looks great but is a "high upkeep" style.
