He never gets to the point, both speeches consist mostly of meta-discussion, and ridicule of those who don't follow Austrian School Economics. It's 99% self-referential jargon talk.

I went through a bunch of Woods' youtube rants, and it's pretty much all the same - his own points are always just sort of taken for granted as pre-understood, and he spends most of his time ridiculing the opposition. I guess you have to read the book...

It's interesting that mainstream historical scholarship is starting to acknowledge the US entry into WWI wasn't a foregone conclusion but a war of choice and did contribute to the rise of Hitler and WWII.
Well it was the draconian measures of the Armistice Agreement that set the stage for Hitler and WWII... That was just bad economics, something maybe we could learn from re: the Eurozone.
