20 to 25 minutes seems more accurate depending on how much wind I have between exercises. If I sat there and totally rested between exercises I could spend more time doing my workout. I like pushing myself without rushing...seems to boost fitness that way.
stats
6'3
225
7% bodyfat (was 4.6 last summer)

max's (has been a few months since tested 1rm but this should be close)

bench 375
squat 510

thats the only two exercises I do 1rms on because of past problems with shoulder joint and lower back..can still do decent weight with everything else but I try to train smart and as injury free as I can.

I know Im not the strongest out there but Im not a powerlifter, just trying to gain muscle..my goal is 245 staying around 7%bf.
I should tell you I just turned 40 and Im in the best shape of my life. Ive been training since 20.

Great stuff...so whats your routine like? 7%? Is this caliper? Cmon.......I typically add 3-5% to whatever someone posts......7% is VERY hard to maintain!

1hr back day
45 min chest day 15min cardio=1hr
1hr legs
the other 2 days 30 mins each

Yep, I think thats about right if you train at Westside and you have to wait your turn to use the monolift, and have to rest 3 to 5 minutes between building up work sets, aint that right cockdiesel?
And it is not called chest day bro, its called ME upper day, and the other days are called Dynamic Effort.

way too much........

shes prolly joking, either way she looks good.

ooo the thoughts running through my head... illegal...

me about and hour and a half. w/o stretching warming up and kooling down.
for the past 2 weeks ive been doin wbs, feeling strong.

usually about 2 and a half to 3 hours it seems. But that is misleading somewhat.

i always have the best strength when i rest a lot between sets. And i also like warming up for pretty much every exercise i do. Because i have had injuries not doing this!

i like to take it pretty slow...and with really heavy sets i always find i need 3 mins between sets to lift the most i possibly can. It seems to work very well for me.

The only problem is sometimes finding that time in the day for my workout. But usually i can find time! :)

3 1/2

3 to 3 1/2 hours for 6 days a week. I train each body part twice a week and I do heavy weight sets and continue to do set after set till I fail, and I would reduce the weight and keep at it and go over and over again. I hit them hard and I am pretty much sore. (When I am really carbed up I can go for 14+ work sets)

I know some people may think it is too long, but I built my self up to 116 KG at 6 foot, 11% body fat in only 3 years with my method, so I am not likely to change it anytime soon.

Try before you buy into it
