Funny how times change. I was doing this ^ with that being weights only. Now I alternate cardio days with weight days. 3 days of weights and 3 days of cardio per week.
 
10 mins cardio to warmup, 10 mins doing presses/rows/squats/pulls etc with just the bar.. then some stretching. Then a lot of warmups. My warmups take a lot longer than my actual workout
 
I read a new theory that basicallty say that the "keep your WO within 1 hour" is BS and that there's nothing wrong with training for 90 min
 
depends on the routine im in. If it's focused mainly on cutting, 1.5-2hrs with about 10sec rest time between sets. When bulking, I try to keep it between 45min and an hour (1min break between sets)

I think it just depends on the person. Some people may not grow well if they train more than an hour 3 days a week and others(i.e. Arnold) can train 2hours at a time, 2x a day, 6 days a week and grow huge. Training frequency and recovery ability are one of the few things that can be blamed on genetics(and gear).

i think the issue is that after training for 60 minutes your cortisol levels tend to go up in a parabola type curve. If you are sipping on carbs while you work out though, i would imagine this not to be as big of an issue -- afterall carbs equals insulin release, and insulin crushes cortisol.
 
Most workouts are around 1hour15min. I rest about 3-4mins between sets. How the hell can people rest 1 min and do a good set?? If I do a set less then a few minutes, I can't put 100% into it. Are you not going to failure or something?? When I finish a set I can't do even a half rep more. I train heavy(for me)/lower reps a lot also.

Many here avoid failure. The concensus is that if you're working heavy then you're better saving that effort for another set than frying your CNS for a failed rep. I usually leave something in the tank.

As for short rest between sets, many elite lifters train this way. It's fantastic for increasing your GPP. I try to keep my rest time short during acclimatizing weeks at the start of a fresh volume phase and keep the set plus resting down to about 90 seconds. It'll make you gasp for breath and can be very tiring but you get to go home a little earlier. Some consider it the most exhausting way to work out.
