How much should I lift while cutting??

I am strictly trying to cut bf right now. I am at 182 and 13% and want to get to 9%. I am using 500mg cyp/wk + 1mg dex/day in order to help preserve the muscle I have and perhaps harden the muscles while building a little strength. I am NOT looking for size and am going to obviously be at a caloric deficit on a daily basis. I am just curious if I am still lifting enough. I do:

30-35 min cardio every morning on an empty stomach
lift T Th and Sat nights (sometimes only 2x/wk)
50-60 min cardio M, W, Th, Sun nights

I feel like 2-3 days is enough right now as I should be focusing mostly on diet and cardio, but kind of wondering if I might be wasting the effect of the test at all?????
 
You are absolutly wasting the test bro,lift as often as you can,work out like an animal,eat clean,lots of cardio and lots of sleep with a good pct.Do the hardcore cutting up when you are off cycle.

Wasting Test? No. This will cut him up, allow him to run a large deficit and lose fat while maintaining/slightly growing muscle...

He Doesn't want size... What else could he do with test but run a deficit and cut? Its not a waste bro... HOWEVER you should definitely train like an animal with that much test in your system... Lift every day and directly after do your 50-60 minutes cardio, low intensity... you'll probably burn around 500-600 calories for low intensity (130hr)
 
He IS wasting the test if he is not lifting like crazy,you just told him the same thing.Growing is the side effect of test but if he eats clean and does the cardio he'll limit the size.
Test makes you retain water so you won't cut up nice until after the test cycle.Winny would be better for what you want to achieve.
 
Ya true... Thought you meant running a deficit on test = waste...

Only 2x a week?!? That is a waste on that high of test you should be able to handle cardio and daily workouts...

Also hes right about test.. cyp causes mad water retention...
 
Ok, throw your first post pretty much hit on what I am getting at. But seriously guys, cyp + 1mg dex a day is not going to bloat me at all and I'm not going to retain any water....not really sure where you are coming from there. Also, like I said, I am not trying to add ANY size. This is more like a maintenance dose.

Lastly, 1Under, the whole point is TO eat clean.

I'd say go with that feeling - you know your body best. If you're doing a lot of cardio and are in caloric deficit, 2-3 days of lifting may be just right. I don't think you're wasting the test at all... it's very effective while cutting.
 
well, if you are trying to get down to a true 9% bf, it's going to be hard on that much test. Test will bloat you like a pig. You will get big, but no matter if you use a-dex or not, you'll still retain some serious water. I was running a test cycle and after my pct, 4 weeks out, i dropped almost 9 pounds of water (and maybe a pound of that was muscle). I pee'd constantly, sweated profusely (more so than when I was on) for about 3 weeks. Dropped all the water and now I have thinned out quite a bit. I'd change the dosages to something smaller maybe 250 a week or less and run it for a longer period of time if you have hgh.. but that's just my .02

What kind of dose of adex were you running with the test and what other aas were you on?
