On the contrary,At the rate we are going, with the "Holiday" tree, and the "Holiday" parties, and the "Holiday break", and lumping Christmas with any other non-traditional American holiday in December such as Kwanzaa, Ramadan etc, it can only be matter of time before Christmas is completely removed from the calendar.
I am glad Christmas is alive and well and that the birth of Jesus Christ is celebrated in churches across the world, and in the homes of Christian families.
Christmas, it seems to be arriving earlier, and earlier each year. Have you noticed right after thanksgiving radio stations start to play Christmas song? Following that your local stores start having those "Christmas sales"? Just from the economic standpoint Christmas will never die, over the course of 100 year or so, business were able to successfully commercialize a saint into a commercial figure as Santa Clause.
And that non-traditional thing you call Ramadan has been here for over 100 years, and it’s already over (It starts in late November, end in early December). The only reason you don't noticed it is because it’s not as commercialized as Christmas is.
Me thinks you guys are getting brainwashed by the talk radio community. Which is another thing I totally despise, but that rant will have to wait for another day. Mabye the day Rush hits the "pound me in the ass" federal prision for his drug abuse charges.
Anyways merry christmas to all
