And that non-traditional thing you call Ramadan has been here for over 100 years, and it’s already over (It starts in late November, end in early December). The only reason you don't noticed it is because it’s not as commercialized as Christmas is.
I said non-traditional American holiday. The reason it is not as commercialized as Christmas is because it doesn't appeal to as many Americans. This country was founded in the Judeo-Christian tradition.

A closer examination of history will tell you that there is no such thing as a "Judeo-Christian" tradition.
That phrase was invented by Christian thinkers to give them additional credibility, and to replace 1600 years of alternating mistreatment and slaughter with an image of continuity.
There is no continuity, there is only a Christian doctrine of supersessionism. Judeo-Christian is a nonsense word.
If it gets any worse, I think we Christians will band together and bear arms....starting a new Crusade. I don't believe in much, and wouldn't fight for much....but I'd kill a motherfucker in the blink of an eye if he tried to mess with Christmas!!!!!!!!
Totally disagree. Judeo-Christian tradition, Western Culture, however you wish to describe it, exists. Is it perfect? No. Does it have it's historically blemishes, mistakes and tragedies? Yes.
It is however, the root of democracy and our way of life in the US, and as a result we enjoy the very best civilization in the history of the world.
