that's pretty cool; thanks for the link!

...crazy to see the houses here in the Phoenix area that were selling for $125K a few years ago, now up around $275K... insane.

its def not 100% accurate on square footage or price but its damn close for some people..
 
Mine shows a lower value than what it is. It also shows "Built in 1895" lol It's only 5 years old, so I guess I could tack on a couple hundred k to the price.
 
That is off by 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. Still amazing though regardless. I know our house is worth more than that because we bought it for that much.
 
I just zoomed in on Spongebob's house lol, its worth a cool million
 
It failed to identify my address, but I can see my roof in the picture. It has hilariously under-valued the surrounding houses. So for me, Zillow totally dropped the ball.
 
Panning around my neighborhood, the prices all appear to be from about 1966.
 
Yeah it said my house was built in 1979. Definitely wasn't. Our house is the most valuable in the neighborhood (which shouldn't be true) but down by the river some houses are 2.0 mill. and up.

490K ...not bad considering I live in the hood. Real estate is insane in my area since im so close to transportation to manhattan.

no clue what my grandfather paid to build this house. but it definetly wasnt alot.

dead on with my home... funny thing is i paid 15K less then the last owner, and 10k less then the one before that... HUD HOUSE!!!! i cant wait to sell this and move up a little and do it all over again.

I just valued my apartment complex at 6.58 million.

Parents home....Ca realstate was a good investment.
 
It valued my house for 313k. Might be right but seemed a little low. I live on a river and the thing was missing 1 bedroom and 1 bath. My parents say it is closer to 500k. My neighbor's house on that site was valued at 789K and my other neighbor was 650k.

I wouldn't tell any of u gold diggers. My place is perfect. The property is bigger than half of the apartment complex I used to live in. It's very peaceful.
 
It's based on tax assessments and available public records. Mine is showing at $3.1M, but I know when I finish it I'll get re-assessed to over $5M. At least 3 EF-ers have seen it, so no...not bullshitting.

I guess the tax increase is sort of a good problem to have. :)

I'm in Tokyo now, so it'll have to wait just a bit. But not too long, I am overdue for a west coast trip.

OH MY GOD !!!

my house in Fort Lauderdale, that I sold in 1995 for $85,000 was last sold in 2005 for $294,000 ............ Fuck, when I sold it it only had a $22,000 mortgage on it.

My parents home, in Annapolis, that they bought for $105,000 in 1981 and sold a few years later for not much more is listed as worth $678,000.

This is what I admire about you the most Matt. You never like to brag. LOL
 
Some of the data is wrong, size of house, number of floors and size of lot. But other than that, very close. Houses here are selling or appraised at about 20 to 40 K over what they stated.
