yes they do....but other than one program geared toward women in a pseudo SF role women that are more elite aren't ever given the chance to match their male counterparts...its just not allowed
I dont like women that can't pull their own weight strength/endurance wise (or men for that matter)
but you are correct, aside from sit ups the physical fitness testing is different between ages and genders...but congress mandates this, not the pentagon
my point was there is nothing non combative about a ground medics job...I wasn't assigned to a unit because my unit was ground ambulance for a CSH...and anyone who thinks were doing trench warfare where theres a frontline is retarded...
because of my non combative MOS I was not eligible for combat awards...hell I know a couple of women that were denied purple hearts because the official stance was they were "non combatant"
my husband has a story about the female medic that he saw drag four men out of a humvee with shrapnel in her leg and was denied a purple heart, and arcom and a bronze star because she was "non combatant" and officially was not on the "frontlines"
its all political horseshit....trust me, there are just as many useless fuckin men in the service as their are women
I quite agree, there are tons of fat wankers in the forces mostly men as the women have to work twice as hard to be accepted.
I'm also we aware it's the government who decides whether or not women can fight on the front line. It is bullshit and it's unfair for people like yourself, the woman in your husband's story and every other female who WANTS to fight. It's inequality who h has been thrust upon us.
I have no respect for a woman who is capable of pulling her weight but chooses not to cos she's afraid of breaking a nail same as I have no respect for any man who is just as limp wristed.
