when you have your period?

Just wondering what other ladies scale says around that time of the month. Up? DOwn? Same? I try not to weight myself that week but I think I might just to see what the diffrence is.

I also try not to weigh myself at that time, but historically it's up around 5 pounds.....

Also I notice the week of my appetite is off the hook but the week after nada. Anybody else find this?

I tend to be up by about 3 lbs and can definitly feel it, but it thankfully goes down the following week! I actually find a couple days before I am craving everything under the sun, the week of is not so bad.

Night and DAY difference! =( just coming off mine.. Its been horrible!! Couldn't even wear my fat jeans from water retention. I NEVER weigh myself....it terrifies me =)

I'm normally up anywhere from 3-5 lbs just prior to and during but it starts to go back down as my period winds down. It's always been that way for me.

I weigh 1 time per week, normally on Thursday. I haven't cheated on the diet this week and I'm up almost 5 lbs already - mother nature is due anytime and I could feel the bloat when I woke up this morning.

I never really noticed. Until last month, I try not to get on the scale, but I had to cause I went to see my trainer the day "George" came to visit. And I was up 4 pounds.

LOL @ George

I'm normally up about 5-7 lbs. :worried:

Same thing here - crazy cravings the week before, ok the week after

hehe

You know what's funny, I never had these "cravings" that women would talk about. My appetite has always been through the roof, I'm always hungry it doesn't matter if I'm dieting or bulking. This is why alot of people in my real life are amazed that I have the strength to diet! lol

Anyway what the hell was I saying before I rambled on lol.

Oh yeah, I never had cravings during that time of the month before, well that was until "George" went on vacation for what 7 or 8 months, that's when the cravings started, it was nuts I couldn't believe how bad I wanted some junk food.

I hope now that he's back, those cravings at that time of the month will go away.

When is the last time you had one? What does your gyno say about it. Mine has pretty much stopped still get a day or two spotting that is it.

I'm on the pill and I barely get a period, not even when I was 23% bodyfat. The scale weight may change a pound or two during that week, but it's no different than when I have a higher carb day.

In this case the scale is my friend because it always says 4-5 pounds, when otherwise I would bet my life on 10-12 pounds.

Three pounds that creep on over the course of five days before it's due, then the day or the day before it's starts they all come off.

i'm really lean.. last time i checked a little under 11%.. could be lower now.. they have done ultra sounds and checked on my insides.. all looks alright..

I was on the pill for 3 months.. got it them.. but havent gotten my period in close to a year on my own.

K, if you're thinking of bone loss due to amennorea, there's a lot of evidence now which indicates that, in the absence of other risk factors, there's no danger of boneloss provided you're getting regular progressive resistance weight training.

Yes I was thinking that, the reason being it was brought to my attention by my doctor when "george" went on vacation for over 6 months, that I should increase my calcium intake to prevent bone loss.

I do not get enough calcium in my diet, so I take a calcium supplement anyway.

sure couldnt hurt. :) just make sure it's not carbonate since that form doesnt seem to be absorbed by the human body very well.

Didn't this also happen around the same time you started taking Nolvadex? I know you've been wondering if the two were related.

Yeah it last 3 days spotting and done. Also fiirst week of nolva was a nightmare emotionaly but now I am back to normal thankfully. Worried about the rebound when I get off but wondering if it might bring my boob back LOL.

Also I think timing wise it was 3 weeks since my last spotting so it was do and right after it finshed Ihad no appettite which the way it is with my regular period.
