Shit! thats a strong bench! When you come down and train with me you will take me to school. My max bench is 405 for 1 rep. I think I fucked up the rotator cuff so I havent maxed in over 6 months.

Im not a big fan of maxing, especially on bench. I have a philosophy that if you cant rep the weight for 5 reps, then you cant handle the weight and shouldnt be doing it.
As you can see i prefer to rep...today's numbers...
135 x 20reps
225 x 10reps
315 x 10reps
315 x 5reps (not fully warmed-up yet)
365 x 10reps (last rep was paused at the bottom, but not a full rest-pause)
405 x 3reps (all rest-pauses)
