How many rounds does an H & K 45 hold?

I have been looking to purchase the H and K 45 however they only come with 2 10 mags. I know you can purchase the extended mags however no one seems to know how many 45 rounds the extended ones hold. I had narrowed the choice between the springfield xd 45 which holds 13 + 1 so any input would be greatly appreciated. also for those of you familiar with the H & K , how does it shoot accuracy and what do you like about the gun. Thanks

Hi Manny, I hope You have been doing well. I would like to have the compact however I know by reading your post you know your weapons so what do you suggest for carry and to keep around the house. H&K For me this brand is like Porsche: high quality, reliable, accurate and great resell value. Not bashing Springlfield XD but for a .45 I'd trust either a good 1911 compact or a H&K. The H&K compact .45 holds 8 rounds. Just make sure you have a good dealer in case you need spare parts and you wont regret it.

comparing an HK to a springfield is like comparing a ferrari to a ford mustang bro. they aren't even in the same league if you ask me.

If you are buying a single gun for protection, reliability considering price isn't a huge factor you would be dumb not to go with the H&K.

The polymer frame on the HK is lighter but the recoil seems to be a little more compared to a Colt due to the less weight.

With that said do you want a carry or a home defense?

I like the H&K tactical for home defense and (the optional tactical light is great for in the dark) If you have connections the LAM would be a dream? I have 2 10 round and 4 12 round clips (the Brady Bill was so asinine)

For carry I like the Kimber Pro Carry series (8 rounds though)

I have never shot a Springfield XD from what I have read they are great.
The only thing is I look at a gun as an investment, honestly I do not see XD’s holding there value as compare to others especially when more are put on the market… look what happen to the Berretta 92f .

Hell go all out and get a MARK 23, if you get something that big go ahead and get you a Desert Eagle .44 or .50.

What ever you get, do not pay retail.

I do not like glocks! besides the glock 18. and that is a 9mm
