you'll know when it's right. It's different for everybody. No set rules. But be absolutely sure you know each other very well... the good and the bad.

My wife and I knew each of for a year before we dated, then dated for 2, lived together 1, married a 2.5 now. We are very happy with 4 children.

I married my first wife after dating 1 year without living together when we were young. We were divorced after 13. Lesson there is people change as they mature.
