How long before testing igf-1 when running gh.

So I got my igf-1 and serum tested when I first started running gh. Pinned 10iu's IM in my delt 3-1/2hrs before blood was drawn. Serum came up 32.9 and my igf-1 was 178. Serum level illustrates authentic gh however the 178, not so much. Could this be due to lack of build up in my system and therefore should I wait a bit to do the igf-1 test?
