How does one, become an adult ?

I think you just know inside. Shit the court has told me I have been sense I was 16. And more then once. Soon I will be done with that bullshit.

I recently saw something on TV, & read a book called The Primal Teen. They describe a condition whereby a certain part of the brain does not develop until age 20ish. I'm being very general here, but basically you cannot make well thought out pragmatic decisions (to your potential) until this process has been completed. This is where you do things & your parents say "Oh, where did I go wrong?", & "What the hell is that little turd thinking?".
Don't worry, you'll grow out of it, but in the mean time, act according to how you know you should. If you're being an ass, you can't just blame this condition as "Oh, I got herpes because my hypothalamcortocampus hasn't finshed developing."

many of the adults that are giving you advice hate their lives. we all think we get wiser as we get older, but we just deal with the same emotions differently. I'm 26 and I've been through you're situation and many girlfriends and almost to marriage and I'm really leaning back toward being 19 again because the society of get married in your early 20's and kill your dreams for the sake of the american family is not going to happen to me. There's a reason most marriages are ending in divorce now and it's people getting married too young who've been coddled their whole lives and haven't experienced enough to grow up, nooooot even close. I've been around a lot of people..... a lot of people with a lot of advice....... TinyTanky keep playing around, here is the thing....

STOP GETTING INTO FIGHTS WHEN YOU'RE DRUNK OR YOU WILL END UP DEAD OR IN JAIL. YOU HAVE TO STOP THAT.

never do anything (that'll have a long-term effect) you'll have to look back on and think, why did I get myself into this, was I pushed into this or did I really want it? I'm back on chicks again now, because I'm chiefly of the opinion that more of mens' dreams are killed by a ring and a subsequent life long guilt trip than by any other mechanism in the american existence. do this do that be home by this time don't travel you have a kid now be responsible there are more important things in life you have to change now where are your priorities money isn't everything you don't need the promotion why do you want to start your own business and put our savings in jeopardy who do you think you are???????? meanwhile you wake up and you're 45 thinking HOW DID THIS HAPPEN I HAD A PLAN!!!! the sad fact of the matter is that most women are dreamkillers.. last line stolen from leykis. btw britain is just like a weird america so you're at risk just the same.

this post is funny in the sense how much has bran changed..i rmember him 2 years ago complaining how old he was gettin and how his ole lady was holding him back etc.... i remmebr u saying @ 24 how old u were getting/felt..... so remember that good post
