How do you view steroid dealer's ?...

i bought some stuff from a guy a while ago (it was fake) and this guy was a lowlife fuckwad who i later learned smoked fucking crack (for real) and wound up on heroin about a year later. he was a junkie only interested in the fast buck. my source now if a clearheaded businessman who realizes my long term patronage is far more valuable that ripping me off for $600. i trust this guy more than most of my friends.

All very interesting stuff, it sounds like a completely different scene in the states than Ireland !. I have never even seen crack !. I views drug dealer's here, ie the lowlife scumbag pushing smack etc are pure evil where as I view the steroid dealer (again in Ireland) as just someone exploiting a market in BB'ing !.

Actually, and this is not intended to flame Jenn.Bfl chick, it was Jenn who brought this to my mind in another thread where we locked horns !. It opened my mind to something which might be happening in our sport in the USA which could eventually come over here if it was true. But steroid use is on a very small scale here and I've never even seen fake roids in Ireland !. We know all the dealers here personally !.

I agree with the Prince. To say that steriod dealers and drug dealers are not at least comparable is wrong. They have too much in common:

- As stated before, they both sell illegal drugs.

- The both sell mood-altering, addictive drugs. Yes, steriods are addictive in a different way than say pot or meth, and are not used by nearly as many people, but they are addictive. You need only visit the Anabolic board for evidence of that. And yes, the mood-altering effects are usually unwanted with gear as opposed to hard drugs. But they alter your mood nonetheless.

- Their are honest dealers, and weasel dealers, no matter what they're selling.

- They both sell drugs that are abused by people.

Now, do I think they're on the same level? No. I think more people use gear responsibly than heroine. I think most people who use gear live mostly healthy lives. So in that sense, they are not the same. But I think to say that they are completely different animals is hypocritical.

How in the SAMFUCK do you expect ANYONE to take you seriously here pal when you say shit like "steroids are addicitve"??!! I know, they aren't as addictive as pot or meth right? SO SINCE WHEN THE FUCK IS POT EVEN ADDICTIVE???? You have been watching too many Oprah reruns or something dude if you are getting that kind of information. Steroids are 100% NOT addictive in any way! And dont feed me any bullshit about fucking psychological addiction either. Thats just a way for people who want a certain drug to be illegal, to make it sound worse than it is! What is psychological addiction anyhow? I mean, if your brain is fucked up enough, you can get addicted to washing your hands too much or picking your fucking ass! It sounds like your comparing Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder to addiction & they are NOT the same thing DOCTOR! If you simply THINK you need it, its not an addiction. An addiction is when your body NEEDS it, as a substance has taken the presence of a chemical that was naturally produced by the body, & the absence of THAT substance has left the bodies supply of said chemical lacking. Every guy that I have ever known to sell gear --will always tell you that he always gets legit shit---And they always say they either know a pro or it comes from his buddy who knows the pro who hes getting it from. Yet there is not a pro out there shooting Brovel Test----And that seems to be a big mover in the states. Or 50cc bottles of Laurabolin---Fake gear is massive business here in the states. And in mexico---And its only going to get worse with the war going on!!!

Adiiction can be both physical and physcological. Isn't that obvious? BB do get hooked on steroids, so in that way steroids are the same as drugs too.

- This is a poll i posted on the Anabolic Board this morning asking how depenndant people are on Steroids. The results so far are:

Out of 13 people,

23% say that are very dependant on the drugs and couldn't give up if they tried.

46.15% say they are slightly dependant on them, it would be hard to give up but not impossible.

30.77% say not at all dependant on the drugs.

I know this isn't a very well conducted poll as so far only 13 people have voted, but it does show that a lot of people using AS feel slightly or very dependant on them. Its' quite clear to see the psychological addiction of steroids.
