I agree with the Prince. To say that steriod dealers and drug dealers are not at least comparable is wrong. They have too much in common:
- As stated before, they both sell illegal drugs.
- The both sell mood-altering, addictive drugs. Yes, steriods are addictive in a different way than say pot or meth, and are not used by nearly as many people, but they are addictive. You need only visit the Anabolic board for evidence of that. And yes, the mood-altering effects are usually unwanted with gear as opposed to hard drugs. But they alter your mood nonetheless.
- Their are honest dealers, and weasel dealers, no matter what they're selling.
- They both sell drugs that are abused by people.
Now, do I think they're on the same level? No. I think more people use gear responsibly than heroine. I think most people who use gear live mostly healthy lives. So in that sense, they are not the same. But I think to say that they are completely different animals is hypocritical.
