How do you open amps?

Could you please tell me how to open an amp?

If you don't have an amp opener use a pen cap snaps right off.

I use a metal file before using a pen cap, makes it a snap

I use the back edge of a steak knife. Just hold the amp in one hand and hit the neck with the knife. I've never had a problem.

I used to take the time to snap the necks off, but this is so much faster.

no really I just hold the amp firm wrap a empty swap packet around the top and snap
