How do you guys inject?

I have been injecting myself for close to two years and just just found the siteinjection site. It says Aspirate the syringe - pull back slightly on the plunger before you start. Do you guys ever do this? I always poke myself and squeeze everything in without pulling back first. How about you guys?
ALWAYS ASPIRATE!!!! The day you accidently put test into you vein will be a very painful one.

Be safe.

I have started aspirating my syringe everytime I take a shot. As I pull the syringe back I notice that very small air bubbles form in the oil, but as the plung goes back forward a little, the bubbles disappear. Is this normal if the tip of the needle is not in a vein???

In the past, before I started to apirate, I had maybe 3-4 shots that bled more than normal. I have read that this can be caused by passing the needle through a vein or capilaries. Does anybody have some insight on this?

Your cool. You are seeing tiny air bubbles not visible to the eye become visible when the pressure is significantly negative (during aspiration) inside the barrel. Sorta like cavitation.

I notice I bleed more when I have a 'shakey' injection or allot of movement. I have also notice that after injecting if I leave the needle in for 20 seconds or so then withdraw, almost no blood, everytime.

I always push a little oil out to lubricate the pin then draw in enough air to make it to the bottom of the barrel where it funnles down into the pin. Then when I aspirate a bubble forms inside the barrel, approximatly the volume required to clear your hard earned cash out of the syringe. The tiny little amount of air you MAY get is nothing, don't worry about it.

I read a previous thread that stated that if you run some hot water over the syringe where the oil is, it will make the injection much smoother. I tried this yesterday and noticed that it makes the injection much easier.

It seems that all the proper ways of injecting is not practiced by doctors. I have always read that you need to aspirate and inject slowly to prevent bruising. No doctor that has given me a shot in the ass has aspirated. Not to mention that they ram that shit right through the pin as quick as possible; it hurts like a bitch:bawling:
