Her mom and dad loved me.....she was talking about not wanting a short engagement three day's before she pwned me with a text break-up. I was going to marry her.....I was that much into her too. :worried:

good cheap (lol) wine and good friends good family all of us together, laughing at a good joke

dont know how to define happiness

just know what makes me feel happy.

Fall is my favorite time of the year, I took a walk in the rain this morning after my coffee.
 
we have twin girls. . .7 y/o. . .they've been in dance since they were 3 y/o. . .every year for their christmas dance recital, the instructors ask the parents to come up on the stage and do the "twelve days of christmas" with the kids. . .we have twins so the wife dances with one. . .and i dance with the other. . .there i am surrounded by a bunch of little girls and soccer moms, doing plies, pirouettes, etc. . .the only d00d on the stage. . .and my little girl is looking at me like i'm the greatest dad in the whole world. . .that makes me feel pretty happy i spose. . .
 
I don't think I could even begin to define "happiness" in a comprehensible way.

I have finally figured out what makes me happy though.

transcending "self" brings me happiness. the pursuit of sensory gratification brings me misery. i believe some folks are inherently more selfish than others, i am one of those! i make a conscious decision everyday to put other peoples needs first, in doing so, i take care of me. it is a paradox that works! it is not virtuous, it is effective and it feels good!
