How do you combat laziness?

I have been the total opposite. :( I have had absolutely no motivation to train. I'm graduating college in a week and finishing off this last semester strong is all I can think about. I have no balance whatsoever. :( I have not touched a weight in almost a month.

This is a great saying i heard the other day, "Hard work pays off in the end, but lazyness pays right now." You just have to put your prioritys straight.

Usually when I get lazy it is due to me being dissatisfied with how my workouts or my gains have been going. The only way to get past that is to force yourself to be more dedicated to train harder.

There are few things in my life that ARE important to me...

Anything that I REALLY want to do...I'll do well.

As far as with training...I never forget that there are 40 other Pro's out there training hard...right now.

it's hard to keep up with all of life's demands....at any given time, there is probably some facet of my life that I am negelcting that I shouldn't be. Training has been a constant for the most part for the past year. It's important that you set goals, and identify the steps you need to take, and follow through with them, despite how badly you don't feel like doing it at that moment.

but we all have our setbacks.

wait till I get in shit with my wife, then do whatever it is I'm getting in trouble for not doing

LOL.....A-men my brother! A-men!

Sometimes I have to schedule a day off work to get things done if I'm way behind in doing it. After I get that done though, I seem to be motivated to do more.

I just read the message by the topic starter..everthing else ignored:
so this is what I do to keep myself from getting tired: COFFEE, and lots of it. I drink about 6-10 cups a day. Give it a shot, and those who tell you caffine is bad for you..they are just pussies.
