How do you cheer up?

i only asked because some of my friends over the years have gotten bored/fed-up/what-have-you with their regular career and, while they were still young enough (there are age cut-offs for a lot of govt jobs) went a different route...fbi, cia, u.s. marshalls, irs criminal investigators, etc...they all love their jobs, they get paid pretty damn good, they have great benefits and a great pension...but, all of them were college grads and most of them had prior military experience.

I resigned from a 3-letter. Been there, done that, hated everything about it.

I dont need to cheer up, I just keep walking, I pretty much think life suck and then you die, but I'm not a quitter and I am stubborn so I just keep going hoping for the worst and bask in the good moments since they are unexpected
