How do I screw in a lightbulb?

If I`m facing the light socket Do I turn the bulb itself to the right from the left? Do I turn the top of the bulb or the bottom of the bulb?

I thought it might be easy but if I were standing on th other side of the chair I would be on the opposite side and the bulb would never screw.

Please help. Thanks

PS Please don`t say clockwise/counterclockwise BS because I don`t want to deal with that lingo. Thanks

turn the light switch off.

Get some pliers and use the end to grab hold of the socked and turn and remove it..

Do not use any water..
