How do I know if I have an abscess?

I did this fucked up inject on Monday and since then have had a long elongated lump in my leg. It's hard as hell too. The first couple of days I had like a low grade fever. Now I feel allright but it doesn't seem to be getting any smaller.

well, what did you inject bro..if prop could be nothing...i get lumps from prop and actually a low grade fever as well but thats me...only thing i can say is go to the doc and get it checked out just to be sure, although i will say it takes a little bit of time for an infection and or abcess to develop.....goodluck bro

if it was abcess it would be red , swollen , itchy , sore

have you tried soaking it very hot water for 30-45 minutes always works for me if the inject is hard / sore it helps break up the oil

It will probably last over a week and be swollen, growing larger by the day, and be red and hot to the touch. Fever and stuff may take awhile to set in-which means your dumbass waited too long to see a Dr. and you need to go asap before you get Staph. If you get a Staph infection you're gonna be fucked up for awhile and it's gonna cost you a shitload in Dr/hospital fees. My friend got Staph and lost 40 lbs and was in the hospital for 3 weeks. I think his Dr bill was like $10K. Of course, this is only if you don't die from it first-although this is highly unlikely, it's still a possibility.

Yup the guy who baked is gear. What I mean by "a fucked up inject" I injected 4ccs into my right thigh (2 pokes 4 inches apart), I know I'm an idiont. 2CCs of Test/EQ, 2CCs of NPP/Prop. And since then I have this big long hard bannana in my leg. It seems to be getting smaller though and I have no abscess "symptoms". I think I just need to break up the oil and it'll be ok.

Baking the gear defenitely made it less painful by the way...

that's funny, I was JUST gonna say that the abcess symptoms were probably the prop crystalizing in your muscle.

Redness,heat,increased heart rate,swelling....all these things say infection. When it gets bright red and hot to the touch...time for antibiotics bro..

Ok, I won't bust on ya too much..... But 4 fucking cc's in the quad? Dude, that's just dangerous unless your quads are Coleman's size.... Stick to 2-3cc's in the quads and delts.... If you wanna do 4cc's in the Glute, that's a lil better, but still risky..... You prob just injected too much oil in one spot, and it's taking a while to dissolve..... Soak it 30-40mins with Hotwater, and rub the shit out of it while youre in the tub..... Bring some music in with ya, and get to work.... I have this back massager that heats up, got it at Wallmart, it's great for when your doing high volume injections.... Anything over 3cc's, I use the heater/massager on the site for 30mins, and it works wonders.... I think youre fine...
