I rented a few DVDs that I want to burn onto my hard drive. First of all they wont play on my computer (windows mediaplayer) but I wanted to know if that matters for burning them onto my hard drive and figuring out how to play them later. How is this all done? thanks

use a dvd ripping software. Duh.

Are you wanting to store it on your computer to play, or burn the dvd to a blank dvd to play in your player?

Burn to my computer, not onto a blank dvd since I dont have a cd writer. I needed to know which dvd burner software that is free to download from the internet, if you knew.
