How Did Your Weekend Go?

Maybe some of you had MLK off?

-saw "big fish", thought it was great, my girl did not like it and let me know every 10 minutes with a big sigh and a annoyed look, finally got fed up with it and said "lets go", left the theater to find out my car was towed, $162.29 later and I am in my car

-ran the last 5 miles of the houston marathon with my sister and ex/friend, 240lbs of weight on my achilles tendon and other joints with the aid of concrete left me feeling like I had been beaten, plus I had a leg day the next day, went well

-got a sweet rash on my balls from the running, big time pain, wish I could share it with you

had the hives since thursday and it was in full blast during the weekend, so i was itching up a storm. doc says some sort of allergy. it basically sucked.

had to work all weekend. Got a bad ass cold too so I doubt I would've done anything anyway. I must have blown my nose 600 times yesterday. Might be allergies. Should prolly get that checked out.

My girl wanted to go see Big Fish this Sunday until her friends told her they didn't like it, so instead I took her right to her couch and made her watch both NFL playoff games with me. I was like, baby, this is your day.

I saw Big Fish and enjoyed it-- even though I was bawling through the last half hour of it. My bf like it too though he said he didn't feel like he related as much to it because he's never had any sort of father relationship and not much of a mother one either.

The rest of the weekend I read and watched football. It was divine. I spent all of Sunday in my pajamas and about half the day snuggled up in bed with books. I got 10-12 hours of sleep Fri, Sat, and Sunday nights. I arrived at work on Monday feeling refreshed. Twas grand.

I watched my 10-year-old son play indoor soccer. Took hard shot off the chest and the deflection went in goal. Had a soccer ball inprint on his chest after the game. He said it was worth it to score!

I saw Big Fish this weekend too... and I spent the last 30 minutes holding back tears LOL. Thought it was a great movie with a good message.

The rest of my weekend was pretty good. Got to shop and see one of my friends that I hadn't seen in awhile. Also got to spend a lot of time with someone I love.

I spent my weekend in DNP hell but I feel like a new man (4 lbs lighter) this week, already got my daily workout in.

Horrible. Ended up in the hospital with my 5 yr. old. She had a stomach virus over 4 days and became dangerously dehydrated. Took almost two bags of solution. Couldn't even answer yes/no questions. She went downhill SO fast. She slowly came around though. We've been building her back up for the last two days.

She's back to her same old self now, but fuuuuuuuck.
