How can you tell if a bottle of wine is any good?

i like port. i usually buy a portugeuse one called delaforce. its best around 20 years old, and costs about $80 a bottle.

It would VERY hard to buy a port thats not from Portugal. (it doesnt come from anywhere else)

If you are looking to have a KILLER drinking port, that even comes in half bottles, so you can buy a few and get a feel for them, go for LBV ports, most of the finer Port houses have at least one LBV. A LOT cheaper than going for their big gun older lines too.

Jackangel: funny you should say that, My brothers old studio on broadway back in the day shared a floor with Rick Rubins place and I used bump bald heads with Run & Co about twice a week.
