Horrendous stretch marks

Ok, here's the story: I bulked up from a pretty lean 140lbs in September to 175lbs 12% bf in December at 5'7". Not too big of an increase in fat, and a pretty impressive increase in muscle size. All my progress was completely natural, no AAS or PH. Just tons of protein, food, and a month of creatine. I'm 19 and I just listened to the advice of taking advantage of naturally high test levels and a fast metabolism. After the big weight gain I noticed stretch marks forming on my biceps, they weren't bad at all at first, but eventually by January they were quite prominent. Then very large stretch marks formed under the front of both armpits. Like huge tears in the skin, and they hurt to the touch at first. They are just giant red scars; I've never seen anything like it. Then by the end of January more stretch marks were forming on my triceps, and the ones in my pits started spreading slightly to my chest. They were once invisible when my arms were down, but are now starting to spread out very visibly.

After they were only getting worse I decided I seriously needed to stop bulking. I started a cutting diet, eating very clean and cutting out most carbs except for at breakfast. I started using r-ala with every meal to minimize effects of carbs as well. I also cut my caloric intake a great deal and I average around 2500 calories a day. I realize this isn't as low as many guys on here eat when cutting, but it's slightly below normal for an active guy my age.

The stretch marks didn't seem to slow down in their formation, so I just finished a cycle of clen and am on nyc right now. I stopped training my arms as heavy and am doing higher reps now than before because I am (un)lucky to have great genetics for arm growth at low reps/heavy weight. I continued to train legs heavy, but now I'm having stretch marks form on my thighs which seem to get worse with every passing week. I seem to be losing fat as my abs are starting to emerge once again, but I'm being plagued further with stretch marks every week.

I'm in a real tough spot here, I love lifting and bodybuilding, but I do it to look good and I can't show off my new muscle mass with these terrible stretch marks all over. Even with a clean diet, post-workout cardio and thermogenic agents I can't seem to lose much size for my skin to catch up.

Is there any dietary supplements that aid in collagen presence in the skin? What can I do to minimize these fucking scars? I almost decided to quit training the other day because I can't deal with further permanent destruction to my skin.

im using maderma and it is taking the redness out of the stretchmarks, other people have tried this with great success

Actually I love my stretch marks. Big ones on chest. Also a ton on biceps (although those arn't really visable). Vitamin E supposedly helps, I took it for a while. Then I just gave up and started enjoying them. Once you get them, you get them. I don't think there is really anything you can do. Some bros get them bad, some not at all. You get used to them. I wouldn't be worried about it.

Sadly if you are prone to them you will nearly always get them as you get bigger. Sunbeds and creams can help, as can a good diet, but there probably isnt a guy on here that hasnt got a stretch mark. I have them all over legs, accross chest, shoulders, biceps, back and now forarms aswell
Just tan well and cover them in fake tan if you have to :)

Yeah, we ought to get a contest going to see who has the worst ones!! That might be fun.....every bro that thinks they have bad ones would post a pic and we could judge it.....

In the past 8 months I went from 165ish to about 212 in bodyweight without a huge increase in fat. I had them on my biceps and edges of my armpits. I used suave skin therapy lotion on them twice a day for a couple months and the ones on my biceps virtually dissappeared. Try it you have nothing to lose. I actually use Neutrogena q10 lotion all over now and people comment how soft my skin is (my fiancee mainly lol)

bro, u sound a lot like me when i was 19. i went from 150 to 180 in about 3 1/2 mos using only 250/wk of enanthate. i got em pretty bad, but i was prone. i got em when i was natural after only about a 10 lb gain. i think if u get em, u get em, and theres not much u can do about it. i know pregnant women use various things, but they do it over the course of their pregnancy (i.e. proactive rather than reactive). i'd just tan if they really bother u. i got over it, and people really dont seem to notice much--especially chicks. u prolly worry about it more than anyone else will notice. wear it as a badge of honor. at least u got em from muscle mass. my old roomate got em on his stomach from being a pig. grossest thing i've ever seen. he got em from eating 2 peanut butter and velvetta cheese sandwiches every day for lunch!! no shit!! nasty!! that fat kid still got laid too. dont worry about it, at least youre growing.

Bwahaha...

Oh and besides mederma you could try Retin-A cream- that may help as well.

You're going to have a tough time getting rid of those stretch marks bro- good luck.

They used to bother me so I tried cocoa butter and vitamin e whcih did no good. The only way to mask them really is tanning, however the bigger i get the less noticeable they become, and they havent grown anymore for some reason. If your tan and huge its not big deal so just keep eating big and keep working hard, and hit the tanning booth a couple times a week.

big ups for mederma, it worked wonders for me!! All my marks disappeared on my biceps and legs!! The ones on my chest are there for life-to deep to do anything about it!!!

Thanks for the input. I think I'm gonna try to check out some maderma and maybe give Vitamin E a shot. The big ones will probably be visible forever, but at least those look like some battle scars.
